The “BIG 5” – NSAwins.com’s Top 5 Ranked Las Vegas Sportsbooks
#1 Las Vegas Sportsbook: Las Vegas Hilton
NSAwins.com Review – This sportsbook is massive, as it contains over 30,000 sqaure feet of space, over 300 betting seats, 60 plus viewing monitors, and a huge 15×20 foot tv screen for the day’s biggest betting events. There is also a huge 75 foot ticker that gives sports fans all the latest sports news and scores. In addition to all that, the Las Vegas Hilton offers the best super bowl props in the city, early bird NFL odds(posted almost 2 weeks before the games), and a wide array of futures odds. The Hilton offers betting on not only all the major pro and college American sports, but also on tennis, golf, eurropean leagues, and more. If you want to bet on something, than it almost always will be available at the Hilton. Daily lines are up by 8:30 AM and the Hilton posts the 1st NFL lines in vegas for the upcoming week every sunday by by 4 PM. The betting service you receive at the betting windows is also very professional and friendly. This sportsbook is hands down the BEST in Las Vegas.
#2 Las Vegas Sportsbook: Ceasars Palace
NSAwins.com Review – Not quite as big as the Las Vegas Hilton, but still plenty big enough. Ceasars seats 250, but has lots of standing room for bettors waiting to sit. The sportsbook offers luxurious chairs surrounded by coffee tables, many monster TV screens, individual 12 inch TV monitors for horse players, and a huge odds board. The setting is dark and has a great atmosphere. Ask anyone in town and most would mention Ceasars as the best book to watch a sporting event. Taking in a major sporting event like the Kentucky Derby or Super Bowl at Ceasars is something every American sports bettor should take in in their lifetime. The crowd reactions during a major sporting event at Ceasars are electrifying. Ceasars is also accepts some of the biggest limits on the strip and parlay players love this book, as it offers parlay cards year round. Most horse players in vegas consider Ceasars to the #1 book for horses, as Ceasars devotes plenty of seats and monitors for horse players. The VIP parties thrown by Ceasars for the Kentucky Derby are legendary. For sports bettors looking to get down early on daily action, Ceasars Palace sportsbook usually posts lines by 8:30 AM. The Ceasars Palace sportsbook truly is state-of-the-art.
#3 Las Vegas Sportsbook: MGM Grand
NSAwins.com Review – MGM Grand offers a fabulous sportsbook to take in a game. Unlike many of the other sportsbooks in town, the MGM Grand sportsbook blends in with it’s casino to give you the feel that you are still in the middle of everything and is very welcoming for rookie bettors. If you are a high roller and can afford it, than the MGM Grand sportsbook offers luxury “skyboxes” that overlook the sportsbook area from the second floor that are 300 to 325 sqaure-feet and can seat 8-10 guests. The sportsbook and racebook used to be seperate areas in the casino, but were merged in 2006 so you no longer have to leave one spot to go place a bet on another. The sportsbook area encompasses over 5300-square-feet of space, provides 47 big-screen televisions(including 36 60-inch TV’s), 49 personal(individual 15-inch) size screens, as well as six electronic scrolling display boards to keep you updated on all the latest scores and sports news. The sportsbook area can seat 104 people and usually has lines up by 9 AM. This sportsbook takes bets on ALL 4 major American sports and also offers futures odds. The MGM Sportsbook is not the best(far from it) for proposition betting, but they do carry props on major events. All in all, the MGM Sportsbook is a great place to bet on games and/or watch a game if you strictly bet on horses and the 4 major American sports.
#4 Las Vegas Sportsbook: Bellagio
NSAwins.com Review – Simply put, if you want to feel like a king and love luxury, than the Bellagio sportsbook is the place to be! You get to sit in a plush, luxurious, comfortable big chair that enables you to watch every single screen with no obstruction, as well as get waited on by gorgeous cocktail waitresses(classy, not cheesy) that take your complimentary drink orders and give you top shelf liquor(they’ll ask you what kind of vodka you want!). The Bellagio sportsbook offers the same set of lines that all other MGM-Mirage properties offer(Mirage, TI, Golden Nugget among others) and post daily lines by 9 AM. The sportsbook offers 47 viewing screens, 90 individual desk screens, and takes betting on straight bets, money lines and totals, parlays, futures, match-ups, propositions, pari-mutuel and nonpari-mutuel racing. It’s the “Bellagio” after all, so you can expect some of the biggest limits in town if you are a high roller. This book is smaller and more intimate than other big sportsbooks in town, but it makes up for it in every other area. The Bellagio sportsbook defines luxury!
#5 Las Vegas Sportsbook: Mandalay Bay
NSAwins.com Review – Nothing fancy, just a solid sportsbook to place bets and take in a game. Mandalay offers the same exact lines as MGM Grand because they are owned by the same corporation, but still is worth a visit as it offers plenty of comfortable seats(300 seats total) and a huge odds board that is bigger than Fenway Park’s Green Monster. The sportsbook area is huge and contains 84 televisions in total, including one 28×30-foot projection screen, 16 3×4-foot projection screens, 22 27-inch TV’s, and 45 9-inch individual TVs. Mandalay Bay has hosted some of the biggest boxing fights in Las Vegas over recent years and is a great book to place bets on fights as the proposition menu is outstanding. Daily lines are usually up by 9 AM and the sportsbook offers some of the highest limits in town for high rollers looking for a place to get their action in. Our favorite part of the sportsbook is their full-service bar and the Turf Club Deli, which offers delicious hamburgers and other sandwiches to munch on. Mandalay Bay is definitely one of the best sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
Honorable Mention
Bally’s, Wynn, Mirage, Stations, Palms(negative: they do not take NBA and WNBA Betting), Red Rock Casino, and New York-New York.
