The Greenbrier Classic has been an official event on the PGA Tour since 2010 when it took over the spot previously occupied on the tour schedule by the Buick Open in Flint, Michigan. The record score for The Greenbrier Classic is 258 by Stuart Appleby in 2010 when he won the inaugural The Greenbrier Classic by shooting -22 under par.
Last year’s winner of The Greenbrier Classic was Argentina’s Ángel Cabrera who shot a 264 to win by finishing -16 under par. Other past winners of The Greenbrier Classic are Sweden’s Jonas Blixt in 2013, USA’s Ted Potter, Jr. in 2012 and USA’s Scott Stallings in 2011.
