2015 Masters Odds, Free Picks & Predictions – Rory McIlroy the 6/1 Favorite to Win at Augusta: The odds to win the 2015 Masters Tournament to take place starting Thursday, April 9th at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia have been released by top online bookmaker Bovada Sportsbook and are now available for open betting. The favorite to win the 2015 Masters is Rory McIlroy at 6/1 odds followed by Jordan Spieth at 8/1, Bubba Watson at 11/1, Dustin Johnson at 14/1 and Jason Day at 14/1 to round out the top five PGA players with the strongest Masters odds to win.

The Masters is one of just four Major Championships on the PGA Tour each season and the 2015 Masters Tournament will be the 79th edition in the Tournament’s glorious history. The event is held at one of the most gorgeous courses in the world at Augusta National and it is a par 72 course over 7,435 yards. The Tournament is famous for awarding a “Green Jacket” to the winner of the tournament and the winner gets to keep the jacket for 1 year and then return it to the clubhouse one year after the victory. Last year’s winner at the Masters was the USA’s Bubba Watson who won the event after finishing -3 under par to win by three strokes. The 2014 Masters win was the 2nd “Green Jacket” for Watson in his career so far as he also won at the Masters in 2012. Watson is a strong bet at 11/1 odds this week to win a 3rd time at the Masters as he has proven himself to play extremely well on a course and event that can overwhelm top PGA players with enormous pressure.

Two of the PGA Tour’s biggest names and arguably it’s two most popular players over the last 20 seasons have both done very well at the Masters. Tiger Woods has won the “Green Jacket” four times as he won the Masters in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005. His long-time rival Phil Mickelson has won the “Green Jacket” three times in his sensational career as he won at the Masters in 2004, 2006 and 2010. Both guys may not be at the peak of their careers right now or even playing their best golf in the past few seasons heading into Augusta this Thursday, but they should not be counted out and provide some huge paying odds for bettors looking to back them. Woods is carrying 28/1 odds to win the Masters at the moment at Bovada and Mickelson is listed at 22/1 odds. A $100 bet on Woods would bring back $2800 if he wins his 5th Masters and a $100 bet on Mickelson would bring in $2200 if he’s able to win his 4th career Masters.

We look for the 2015 Masters to be a very competitive Championship with nobody running away and hiding. At least a few players should be within striking distance on Sunday to win this event and it would not surprise us at all if those three players are Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson and Adam Scott. McIlroy has never won at the Masters, Watson has won three times as noted above and Scott won the Masters in 2013.
