2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs – 3 Ways Sportsbooks Protect their Profit
1. Max betting limits – When it comes to Stanley Cup futures, there are few better ways to protect profit then to set max betting limits.
Online bookies with access to a mass editing tool, can set max betting limits on every player.
Nobody, at this point, knows for sure who will win the NHL Stanley Cup.
However, max betting limits prevents a sports bettor from getting lucky with a huge bet on the eventual 2018 NHL Stanley Cup winner.
2. Schedule limit overrides – If things get too hot on a specific game, smart pay per head agents will set an override on the game.
Overrides encourage wagers on other NHL matchups.
Action that’s spread among various NHL games instead of on a single NHL game stems sportsbook losses.
3. Take games off the board – A good way to prevent losses on a single NHL game, or to protect profits on a game, is to take the game off the board.
Pay per head agents do this whenever they feel a specific game has gotten too hot for them to handle. They also take games off the board when they don’t want a run on a single team in a specific game.
Other ways online bookies protect NHL Playoff sportsbook profits is to broadcast nationally televised games, set up bet alerts to know when a specific player has wagered, and offer cross-sports parlays that are almost impossible to hit.
There’s still time to make a profit with the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, it’s all about protecting your profits, and promoting the right games.
Be sure you upgrade to a premium sportsbook management software to have the right tools in place as the semi-finals.
PayPerHead.com is offering cash back incentives to help online bookies hit the ground running. There are 3 ways online bookie agents can get up to 35% cash back credited to their sportsbook account.
