Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 15

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 15:  Quarterback Michael Vick will lead the Philadelphia Eagles on the road to the New Meadowlands Stadium to take on the New York Football Giants on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET on FOX Sports.  Both Teams are 9-4 and Philly beat the Giants in Philadelphia last month so the winner will most likely win the NFC East as Dallas and Washington are out of the race and a bye in the first round of the playoffs.  “I’ve always said the records really don’t matter when these two teams get together,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said. “Like I’v.e also said, I think it’s kind of neat that both teams are in a position where the game is important this late in the season. It’s a tribute to both teams and how they’ve played.”  Vick is a big reason that the Eagles are having the success they are enjoying.  “Michael is playing great football,” Giants quarterback Eli Manning said. “He’s exciting to watch whether it’s running, scrambling, or throwing the ball, he’s playing at a very high level. Our defense has a great challenge. That’s why offensively we have to move the ball, get first downs, keep our defense off the field, and get some points.”  The odds makers at SBG Global have the New York Giants -3 point favorites at home against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants are coming off a short week as their win over the Vikings 21-3 was moved from Sunday to Monday and from Minneapolis to Detroit due to the collapse of the Metro dome roof.  Quarterback Eli Manning completed 22 of 37 passes for 187 yards a touchdown and 2 picks.  The damage was done on the ground as Brandon Jacobs carried 14 times for 116 yards and a score and Ahmad Bradshaw carried 11 times for 103 yards and a touchdown.  The total has gone UNDER in 11 of the NY Giants last 14 games when playing at home against Philadelphia.  Vegas odds makers have the New York Giants as +1300 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Eagles won and NFC East showdown with the Dallas Cowboys 30-27 recently to move to 6-7 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Michael Vick completed 16 of 26 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns but had 2 picks as well as 8 runs for 16 yards and another score.  The total has gone OVER in 5 of Philadelphia’s last 5 games on the road and Philadelphia is 5-0 SU in their last 5 games when playing NY Giants.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 47 points combined of the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.

I predict a Giants win at home.
