Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 12

Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 12:  Interim head football coach Leslie Frazier will lead the Minnesota Vikings on the road to FedEx Field to take on the Washington Redskins on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET on FOX Sports.  The Vikings come in at 3-7 3rd place in the NFC North hoping to have the Cowboys effect of firing the head coach and getting wins from a rejuvenated team while the Redskins are at 5-5 3rd place in the NFC East and battling through a series of injuries.  Future Hall of Famer quarterback Brett Favre has struggled this season with only 10 touchdowns to 17 picks and a 69.8 passer rating that is nearly at the bottom of the league.  Part of that could be the old guy battling injuries and part his disagreement with Chilly about the play calling but he hopes to finish out the season and keep his starting game streak alive.  “We have six games left, I hope to finish them all,” Favre said. “Let me make that clear. I want to finish on a high note and if my body will allow me and I can play up to my expectations … I want to do it.”  The odds makers at SGB Global have the Minnesota Vikings -1 1/2 point favorites on the road at the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins are coming off a win against the Tennessee Titans 19-16 moving them to 6-3-1 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Donovan McNabb completed 30 of 50 passes for 376 yards a touchdown and a pick also rushing once for 4 yards.  Receiver Santana Moss caught 6 balls for 106 yards and a touchdown while tight end Chris Cooley snagged 7 receptions for 91 yards.  Washington is 9-3 SU in its last 12 games when playing Minnesota.  Vegas odds makers have the Washington Redskins as +12500 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Vikings are coming off a 31-3 loss at home to the Green Bay Packers moving them to just 3-7 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Brett Favre completed 17 of 38 passes for 208 yards and an interception against his old team.  Running back Adrian Peterson carried only 14 times for 72 yards.  The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Washington’s last 5 games when playing at home against Minnesota.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 44 points combined of the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins.

I predict a Vikings win for Favre on the road!
