Last week, I went with all chalk in my picks… and the only chalk left was the “chalk outline” of my wallet!! It was truly a terrible week, crappy games & even crappier picks…. This is not what we’re looking for folks, so I plan to turn this thing around starting now…

Jacksonville Plus 9.5 – The Jags have played some good defense and have been in close games with Pittsburgh and Baltimore and there’s no reason they can’t keep it close in a divisional game with the underachieving Texans.
Carolina Minus 3.5 – Two teams heading in different directions…lots of excitement on the Panther squad and Minnesota is marking weeks off the calendar until vacation time.
New Orleans Minus 13.5 – NO hasn’t been that good of a road team this year, but St. Louis is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E….. Maybe Payton can have a brewski or two with his press-box hotdog this week …
NYGiants Minus 10 – I have to hold my breath with the G-Men squad but think they wax a free-falling Dolphin squad who has absolutely nothing to play for now.
Dallas Plus 3.5 – I think the Cowboys have a good team and think they either win outright or its a FG game and I win it on the hook…plus Philly is 12-0 coming off byes…law of averages are about to kick in here….
Detroit Minus 3 – Look, if the Lions are who they think they are, there is no way they lose to a shit Bronco team led by the 13th disciple himself, Tim Tebow… Detroit has lost 2 in a row and I just cannot believe they won’t be desperate to turn it around.
MONDAY 10/31
Kansas City Plus 3.5 – KC can tie for the division lead with a win here and have turned it around from their lousy start…they have to be feeling they are right back in the race and SD is playing it’s second long road game in two weeks. I’ll take the points at home, thank you very much. ….and no jokes from me about Norv’s face looking like a carved up pumpkin on Halloween….
