Got back on track last week with a solid 4-2-1 record. Could’ve been better if Indy didn’t keep fumbling the ball and kept the 10 pt lead they held all game, or if I didn’t go brain dead and pick an embarrassing Jacksonville team on Monday night, but that’s life in the big city. Let’s keep it rolling this week with some strong plays. As always, please note I’m not a pro handicapping legend like the staff at NSAWins.com, just a blogger and NFL observer.

Sunday 10/24
Atlanta Minus 3 – The Falcons are who I thought they were, strong at home and shaky on the road. Well, the Bengals have been shaky every week home or away. Atlanta will be pissed after their beatdown in Philly and will take it out over a Cincy team that has big problems. Falcons big here.
Washington Plus 2 – The Skins are better coached, have a better quarterback and have a strong defense like the Bears… I like what Shanahan has done so far and if it wasn’t in Chicago, the Skins would be favored. Washington wins this game outright.
New Orleans Minus 13 – The Saints hit their stride last week and laid the wood to Tampa. The Browns and a rookie QB making his 2nd start in a dome atmosphere isn’t exactly a formula for success. I like the Saints here to post their second rout in 2 weeks…
Baltimore Minus 12 – The Ravens are yapping and crying again like they always do after a loss. They are bullies who feast on the weak but don’t really intimidate the good teams. Unfortunately, the Bills are neither strong nor good. The Ravens will bully them and feed their big egos with a beatdown of this hapless team
Oakland Plus 8.5 – This play isn’t an endorsement of the Raaaiiiidahs but a play against a line that is way too high. Look, I know Oakland isn’t very good but the Bronco’s shouldn’t be favored by 8.5 over anyone, I don’t care where its played. This is a 2-4 team people. This is a division game and most of the time, the games are close. I’ll take this big number, thank you very much.
Monday 10/25
New York Giants Plus 3 – I for one have no faith in Son of Bum and this band of underachievers…. Yeah, the Cowboys are the more desperate team but the G-Men are playing very well and love to kick their rivals from Big D when they’re down. I think Dallas is toast and I’ll take the better team getting points.
NY/Dallas Over 44- A fast track and some offensive firepower adds up to a plethora of points in this one.
