The lines on the games are tightening up as Vegas gets a handle on these teams this year. I struggled again last week, so I’m looking to re-group and win big this week. Lots of good games on tap for week 6 so lets get back on track. Remember, I am not a pro handicapper with NSA Wins.com, just a writer for FSR.

Sunday 10/17
Baltimore Plus 2.5 –Last year NE won a close game that Baltimore could’ve won if their receiver didn’t drop a 4th down pass in the red zone to end the game. Then later in the year the Ravens destroyed the Pats in the playoffs. NE has improved since then and I think the game will be competitive, but I just don’t think NE has closed the gap enough to win this game. Baltimore wins outright.
New Orleans Minus 4 -The Saints look to get the bad taste of Arizona out of their mouths and not drop 2 games in a row. They are behind both Tampa and Atlanta in their division and cannot afford to lose to Tampa and fall further behind. I like what Tampa has done, but the Saints should win by a TD or more.
New York Jets Minus 3 – The Jets are flying high (no pun intended) and are one of the top 2-3 teams in the league right now. On paper the Donkey’s are no match unless the Jets take them lightly… NY is focused and on a mission and will handle Little Hoodie’s team easily. This is a small number to cover so lay the points.
Minnesota Minus 1.5 – In the so-called “Panic Button Bowl“, where the loser is all but done for the year, I’ll go with the home team. The return of Randy Moss will energize the crowd and the last time I saw the Cowgirls in Minnesota during the playoffs, Tony Romo was sacked repeatedly and running for his life. I see a repeat of that matchup and I’ll take the Queens to cover a small number.
Indianapolis Minus 3 – Look, I like and respect what Shanny is doing in DC, but there’s very few teams out there that I’d take against Manning and crew. Folks, the Redskins aren’t one of them and I just don’t see where they can score enough points to beat them. Indy by 7 or more.
Monday 10/18
Jacksonville Plus 3 – I don’t like either team that strongly here so I’ll take the home dog on a Monday night. Second road game in two weeks for Porn Stache’s crew, so I’ll take a flyer on Jacksonville.
Jax/Ten Under 45 – Time for a snoozer Monday game with a 13-10 kind of game….
