Thanksgiving weekend is upon us and it’s an exciting time in the NFL as this is when games become crucial for playoff contenders and it makes for some great games. After a subpar result 2 weeks ago, I rebounded nicely last week going 8-1 in week 11. I won’t gloat as I know how quickly it can change but I hope to ride the hot hand through the best football weekend in the regular season. Please note I am not a professional handicapper and not affliated with NSAWins.com.

Green Bay minus 11- Every year you can count on the Lions to put you to sleep with their ineptitude… It looks like they found their future QB and are improving so this may be the last year we can count on the early game blowout snoozefest…
Dallas minus 13.5 – Son of Bum’s boys haven’t been lighting up the scoreboard lately and they are definitely due to break out. Dallas knows how to get ready in the short week and Oakland doesn’t show up on the road so I’m laying the points. Dallas in a rout…
Denver plus 7 – Look, I know Denver lost 4 in a row and all, but NY recently lost 4 in a row themselves and needed OT to get past Atlanta. I think Denver will give their best effort here and make it a competitive game. I just think 7 pts is too much for the Giants to cover here. Not saying they can’t win, but they aren’t the Giants from early last year either.
Sunday 11/29
Miami minus 3 – The Dolphins play hard and are still in the playoff hunt. The Bills played hard last week in Jacksonville, but I think the game is more important to Miami and they find a way to walk away with a win.
Philadelphia minus 9 – Even though Washington has a good defense and will make Philly work to score, I just don’t see how the Redskins put up enough points here to keep it close.
Atlanta minus 11.5 – The Falcons are a different team at home and can dominate a weak team like Tampa. Tampa fired their defensive coordinator this week (their 2nd coordinator firing this year) and the head coach will take over the defense… Can you say amateur hour?
Carolina plus 3 – Historically, this is where the Panthers play well….. you know, on-the-road as-an-underdog-after-laying-an-egg-at-home. Got it? The Jets are also reeling and in annual collapse mode…. plus this is one game where Carolina actually has an advantage at QB….
Cincinnati minus 14 – If the Bengals are a good team, then they lay the wood to the worst team in the league at home after getting embarrassed out in Oakland. I think they are a good team and show it this week.
Monday 11/30
New England plus 3 – The Patriots have every bit as good an offense as the Saints and possess a better defense. New Orleans has played some very close games over the past month and would’ve lost if they were playing upper echelon teams. The Pats are also going to be motivated to prove they can win on the road against a good team. I like them to win outright.
NE/NO Under 56 – I know the conventional wisdom is to play the over in what should be a shootout, but I’ll go against Johnny Public here and stay on the under play on Monday.
