The Los Angeles Rams come into this week a perfect 8-0 overall and 4-4 against the spread. The Rams escaped with a 29-27 home win last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers fumbled a kickoff with 2 minutes left that would have given the ball back to all pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a chance to drive for a game winning field goal.

The Rams have been the best team in the league so far this season and are the favorites to win the 2018 Super Bowl. Having said that, they haven’t exactly played the top teams in the league so far and this week’s game at New Orleans will present their toughest test of the season so far by far.

The Rams come in posting 442.6 yards per game of total offense and 7 yards per play. The offense is well balanced with it rushing for 150.9 yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry while throwing for 291.8 yards per game and 9.2 yards per attempt.

The New Orleans Saints enter this week 6-1 overall and 5-2 against the spread. The Saints are coming off of an impressive 30-20 win at the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday on Sunday Night Football.

The Ravens return home for their first home game since October 8th when they beat the Washington Redskins 43-19 on Monday Night Football. The Saints have been on the road the last two weeks and have played 4 of their last 5 games away from home. They have won them all and come in riding a 6 game winning streak.

The Saints offense comes in averaging 389.9 yards per game and 6.2 yards per play. The unit does most of it’s damage thru the air as it averages just 108 yards rushing per game and 3.9 yards per carry while throwing for 281.9 yards per game and averaging 8 yards per attempt. Our money is going down on the Rams -1.5 this week. They are the better team on both sides of the ball in our opinion and the Saints lack of a rushing game is going to show up big in this game as the Rams defense will pin it’s ears back and get after Brees while the Rams offense will keep the Saints defense guessing with their balanced attack.
