The Green Bay Packers enter this week with a 3-2-1 overall record and 2-4 against the spread. The Packers had the bye week last week and last played on Monday Night Football on October 15th when they beat the San Francisco 49ers 33-30 at Lambeau Field.

The Packers come into this week a little more healthy after having the bye week. The Packers have had a slew of injuries across the roster so far this season but could get some much needed help with the return of top wideout Randall Cobb who is listed as probable after missing the last 3 games with a hamstring injury. Cobb’s return plus a week of rest for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to nurse his sprained left knee MCL injury are just what the doctor ordered for a Packers offense that will need to score a lot this week to have a shot at pulling off the upset.

The Packers offense has been solid this season as it averages 421 yards per game and 6.4 yards per play. Rodgers is still arguably the best in the game but has had to deal with injuries plus a mediocre offensive line that’s allowing him to get sacked 3.5 times a game. The Packers defense is giving up 328.3 yards per game and 5.3 yards per play.

The Los Angeles Rams are coming in 7-0 overall and 4-3 against the spread. The Rams just finished up a 3 game road trip and completed it 3-0 with a 39-10 win at San Francisco last Sunday.

The Rams have been the best team in the NFL so far and the offense has been the main reason why. The Rams have scored 33 or more points in 6 of their 7 games so far and scored 23 points in the other one.
