The Dallas Cowboys come into this week 3 NFL game with a 1-1 overall record and 1-1 against the spread. The Cowboys are coming off of a 20-13 home win over the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football last week. The win evened up the Cowboys record after losing 16-8 in week 1 at Carolina.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter against the Giants last Sunday and never looked back as the final score 20-13 was closer then the game actually was. The Cowboys had a well balanced attack in the win as they rushed for 138 yards on 25 carries and passed for 160 yards on just 25 attempts.

Quarterback Dak Prescott finished 16 for 25 for 160 yards and 1 touchdown with no interceptions in the win. Running back Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 78 yards on 17 carries with 1 touchdown. Meanwhile, the defense was impressive as they sacked Giants quarterback Eli Manning 6 times and held Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley to just 28 yards on 11 carries.

The Seattle Seahawks enter this week still looking for their first win as they are now 0-2 overall and 0-1-1 against the spread. The Seahawks lost to Chicago Bears in the Windy City on Monday Night Football 24-17. They lost in week 1 at Denver 24-17 so they will be playing their home opener this week against the Cowboys.

The Seahawks fell behind 10-0 against the Bears in the first half and were down 17-3 in the 4th quarter before making things interesting. They had a chance to tie the game trailing 17-10 in the 4th quarter but a pick six thrown by quarterback Russell Wilson put and end to those plans.

Seattle has been battling injuries so far this season and it has showed on the field. Starting wide receiver Doug Baldwin and linebacker K.J. Wright are among the Seahawks out with injuries and there are many more playing injured.
