New England Patriots(+520 odds to win Super Bowl LI) – The tandem of head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady is arguably the best in NFL history and they always seem to be in the hunt to make or win the Super Bowl every season. The 2016 season should be no different despite the fact that the Patriots won’t have a 1st round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft due to penalties associated with “Deflate-gate”. Despite that, the Patriots will return virtually every significant player from last season and will get back dynamic running back Dion Lewis from an injury that sidelined him for the 2nd half of the 2015 season. The Patriots should once again win the AFC East Division with ease and will be very formidable in the postseason if they can stay healthy and see improvement from their young but talented defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers(+800 odds to win Super Bowl LI) – The Steelers should have the most explosive offense in the NFL for the 2016 NFL season as a lineup consisting of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Antonio Brown, wide receiver Martavis Bryant and running back Le’Veon Bell will be absolutely explosive. The Steelers had a lot of injuries in 2015 but if they come back healthy in 2016 than the franchise’s 7th Lombardi Trophy is certainly within reach. The Steelers will certainly need to improve their defense if they want to win it all so expect the Steelers to focus heavily on that side of the ball in the 2016 NFL Draft and free agency as the offense needs very little other than some better depth on the offensive line in our eyes.

Carolina Panthers(+800 odds to win Super Bowl LI) – The Panthers had a disappointing end to a fabulous 2015 season as they got manhandled and abused in Super Bowl 50 by an outstanding Denver Broncos defense. Having said that, we expect the Panthers to come back stronger in 2016 and look to redeem themselves by getting back to the Super Bowl and finishing it off with a win. The Panthers have arguably the league’s best player in quarterback Cam Newton but the skill position players he has to work with aren’t exactly elite in our eyes. The Panthers should address the wide out position by giving Newton something better than Tedd Ginn Jr to work with as a deep threat and if they can get him better weapons than look for the Panthers offense to be a nightmare to defend. The Panthers will rebound nicely from their Super Bowl 50 loss and once again be in the hunt to get back to the Super Bowl and win it.
