The Seahawks have been one of the best NFL teams for awhile now and have won 56 regular season NFL games over the last 5 seasons. They have been one of the most well balanced teams in the league the past few seasons and finished 12th in total offense and 5th in total defense in the NFL last season.
We expect big things from the Seahawks defensively this season as they don’t appear to have any glaring weaknesses. They have arguably the most talent in the league on defense led by pro bowlers in MLB Bobby Wagner, CB Richard Sherman, SS Kam Chancellor and FS Earl Thomas. They even added to their already stacked defensive unit with the addition of former NY Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson.
On the offensive side of the ball, Seattle should have no problem moving and scoring the ball this season. Quarterback Russell Wilson is one of the best and most underappreciated signal callers in the NFL and he has plenty of help. The wide receiver group is strong led by wide outs Doug Baldwin and Paul Richardson plus tight end Jimmy Graham is one of the best in the business. If former Packers running back Eddie Lacy can give them a ground game and the offensive line can become a formidable unit then the Seahawks have all the makings of a true Super Bowl contender.
The Green Bay Packers come into the 2017 NFL season as the favorite to win the NFC according to Bovada Sportsbook. Rodgers should once again be near the top of all quarterback statistical categories this season as he has tons of talent around him on a Packers offense that should be better than last season’s 8th overall unit in the league. Rodgers has a new toy to throw to in tight end Martellus Bennett who signed as a free agent from New England. Rodgers also has wide outs Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb giving him perhaps the best trio of pass catchers that any quarterback in the league has this season.
The big question mark for the Packers is solving a defense that has been mediocre to terrible the past few seasons. The unit finished 22nd in the NFL last season and was lit up in the NFC Championship game as Atlanta hung 44 on them in a 44-21 win. The Packers tried to solve the problem in the draft as they used their first four picks on defensive players. If the new faces pan out then the Packers will be one helluva team to try and beat this season.

In fact, Green Bay has won by double digits in all four of the games played at Lambeau since 2008.
