Bet on OVER 42 – Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens The betting odds for this AFC North Division showdown have the Steelers as a -3 point favorite and the total at over/under 42 points. The Steelers have gone UNDER in all three of their games so far this season while the Ravens have gone UNDER in two of their three games. That means we are playing the UNDER, right? Wrong. The line on the total has moved down from an opening number of 45 points and is now at 42 points. The Steelers offense should be able to move the ball and get in the end zone against an overrated Ravens defense while the Ravens will also put points on the board against a Steelers defense that’s not as good as it thinks it is. The Steelers have padded their defense stats so far against three mediocre offenses in the Browns, Vikings and Bears. Bet on the OVER 42 today and count that cash. Bet on OVER 42 at Bovada.
Bet on UNDER 48 – Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots The betting odds for this week 4 NFL non-conference game have the Patriots as -9.5 point favorite and the betting total at over/under 48 points. The Patriots have gone OVER in all three of their games so far this season while the Panthers have gone UNDER in two of their three games. The line on the total has gone up from an opening number of 47 to the 48.5 it stands at as this column goes to print. The line should continue to move up as it gets closer to the 1PM EST kickoff as the public is all over the OVER on this game.
We are playing UNDER 48.5 in this game as this line is a little juiced thanks to public money. The sharps aren’t really playing this total too heavy so the line will continue to go up and we can probably get this line closer to 49.5 or even 50 by kickoff. The Panthers have a good defense that should be able to avoid getting embarrassed by Tom Brady and company today plus their offense has struggled so far this season so we don’t see them going up and down the field at will. New England should have it’s defensive leader, linebacker Dont’a Hightower back on the field today so we expect a more cohesive Patriots defense today. Bet on UNDER 48.5 at Bovada.
