The Packers were completely shut down offensively last Sunday night in a 29-10 loss at Denver and Rodgers only totaled 77 yards passing. A struggling Andrew Luck found a way to move the ball at will against Carolina in the 4th quarter and in overtime before a tipped ball interception gave Carolina the win in overtime and we expect Rodgers to find the holes in Carolina’s defense all game long on Sunday. St Louis +3 over Minnesota – The St Louis Rams enter this week 4-3 overall and playing lights out defensively the last two weeks with 27-6 and 24-6 wins over the 49ers and Browns at home. The Rams have the 4th ranked scoring defense in the NFL and are playing a real physical style of football on both sides of the ball. The Rams will be going up against a 5-2 Minnesota Vikings team that’s also playing outstanding defensively as they come in ranked 2nd in the NFL in scoring defense. These two teams have played the last two seasons and the Vikings have gotten the better of the Rams both times including a 34-6 blowout win at St Louis last season. We look for an extremely motivated Rams team to go into Vikings home turf this weekend and return the favor with an outright win behind a strong running game that’s rushed for over 600 yards the last 4 weeks. Denver -4.5 over Indianapolis – Craziest stat of the week we’ve seen is the fact that Indianapolis is an incredible 8-0 against the spread including 7-1 straight up in the last 8 meetings against Denver. This game has all the makings of a burial and you know Peyton Manning is going to bring his “A” game one more time as this will probably be his last game playing in front of the Indianapolis fans he played for in his prime years.
