New York Jets +9 over New England – This game on paper looks like it should be a double digit win for New England but we like the Jets in this spot getting +9 points on Sunday. These two teams are bitter rivals and these matchups are rarely double digit blowouts as the last 4 meetings have been decided by 3 points or less. The Patriots come into this game undefeated at 5-0 but are banged up and will be without some key players Sunday on defense as well as offensively with some key players nursing nagging injuries. The Jets are 4-1 overall and really playing sound football under rookie head coach Todd Bowles and they will be highly motivated to knock off their AFC East Division nemesis tomorrow in Foxboro and take over 1st place in the division. This is a big statement game for the Jets to let the league know they are for real and they should give New England all it can handle and then some. We aren’t saying the Jets will win outright but they definitely have a shot and getting +9 points is a gift from the odds makers. Take the Jets +9.

Atlanta -6 over Tennessee – The Falcons come into this game 5-1 overall and have had 10 days to prepare since losing their last game on October 15th at New Orleans. The Falcons have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2015 NFL season so far but we do believe they are for real and will be in the hunt for the NFC South Division crown along with Carolina all season and should be in the NFC Playoffs no matter what. The Falcons offense is explosive and enters this game with the 3rd overall scoring offense in the NFL averaging 30.5 points per game. Quarterback Matt Ryan should have a big day going up against a Tennessee defense that is 21st in the league and gave up 38 points last Sunday to a mediocre Miami offense. Tennessee is 1-4 overall and that one win was against an awful Tampa Bay team to start the season. Lay the -6 points and take Atlanta on Sunday as this game will be a laugher and an easy 2 to 3 touchdown Atlanta Falcons victory.

Minnesota -1.5 over Detroit – In what is a surprising schedule move by the NFL, these two teams are already facing off against each other for the 2nd time this season. The Vikings took the first meeting at home 26-16 on September 20th and will be looking for the season series sweep and improve to 4-2 overall on Sunday in Detroit. The Lions finally got into the win column last week with a 37-34 overtime victory over the Bears to improve to 1-5 overall in what has been a miserable season so far for Detroit. We like the Vikings to get the job done again against the Lions on Sunday on the road as Minnesota’s 2nd rated scoring defense in the NFL should once again be able to shut down Detroit’s brutal offense that hadn’t been able to score the ball at all until it feasted on Chicago’s mediocre defense last week. This line is way off and getting Minnesota -1.5 tomorrow is another gift from the odds makers. Don’t overthink it and simply put some money down on Minnesota and make some easy cash.
