Houston Texans +6 over Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons have been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL so far this season as they enter week 4 with a 3-0 overall record. The Falcons are 3-0 against the spread so far and have beaten three NFC East teams with wins over the Eagles, Giants and Cowboys. The Falcons will be tested this week, however, against a Texans team that possesses one of the best pass rushes in the league with all pro J.J. Watt leading the way. The Texan are 1-2 overall after getting a win last week at home against Tampa Bay and it’s defense has been solid as it comes into this week ranked 9th overall in the NFL. The Falcons have been playing well but 6 points is a lot of points to lay down against a Texans team that will come to play defensively and has just as much talent as the Falcons top to bottom on their roster outside of the quarterback and wide receiver positions. Take the points as this is a field goal game either way.

Chicago Bears +3 over Oakland Raiders – The Bears are 0-3 overall and 0-3 against the spread but have lost to three teams in Green Bay, Arizona and Seattle that are arguably three of the Top 5 teams in the entire NFL. The Raiders, meanwhile, are nowhere close to being a Top 5 NFL team and are closer to the Bears talent-wise than they are to the top tier of the NFL. Having said that the Raiders are 2-1 overall and have been competitive for new head coach Jack Del Rio. However, until the Raiders can prove to us that they are capable of winning on the road as a favorite we ain’t buying it. The Bears have a ton of issues but the Raiders are a young team that isn’t ready to handle all the positive press and go on the road and win as -3 point favorites after just going on the road last week and winning in Cleveland. Take the points with the Bears on Sunday and don’t be surprised if they win outright.

Philadelphia Eagles -3 at Washington Redskins – The Eagles got into the win column and improved to 1-2 last week with a big 24-17 win at the New York Jets. Head coach Chip Kelly’s offense still hasn’t put up the big numbers everyone expected it to heading into the season and only put up 231 total yards of offense after being held to 226 yards the week prior versus the Cowboys a home. However, the Eagles should break out in a big time way this Sunday against a 1-2 Redskins team that gave up 32 points and 363 yards defensively at the Giants last week. The Redskins looked horrendous against the Giants last week and that is who they are. They are a 6-7 win team at best this season and the Eagles should exploit their mediocre defense this week. Lay the points and look for an Eagles win going away.
