New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills UNDER 45 – This game should be a war and the best game for NFL week 2 by far in our opinion. There is a real hatred on Buffalo’s side towards New England as the Patriots are 23-3 against the Bills with Belichick/Brady and new Bills head coach Rex Ryan has always had an exe to grind against the Pats. The Bills were impressive defensively in their 27-14 week 1 home win against Andrew Luck and the Colts. The Bills defense is arguably the best in the NFL and the loud crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium should give Brady and New England’s offense fits as they are still short handed with their biggest wide receiver Brandon LaFell still hurt. Look for this game to be very physical and low scoring as the Bills will try and establish the run and make this game a war.
St Louis Rams -2 over Washington Redskins – The Rams got their season off to a great start with a week 1 win at home over Seattle 34-31 in overtime. The Rams offense looks like it has taken the next step with Nick Foles at quarterback and the defense is much better than the 31 points they allowed last week would lead you to believe. The Redskins lost 17-10 in week 1 at home to Miami and continued to sputter offensively like they did last year. These two teams played last season in D.C. and the Rams stomped em out 24-0. This game will be closer than that but the Rams should win by at least a touchdown on Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens -6 over Oakland Raiders – The Ravens lost a tough one on the road in week 1 at Denver 19-13. The Ravens had an opportunity to steal the game in the final minute but Steve Smith dropped a TD pass before quarterback Joe Flacco tossed an interception on the next play inside the red zone. The Raiders, meanwhile, were annihilated 33-13 in head coach Jack Del Rio’s debut as Raiders coach in week 1 at home. The Ravens are one of the best teams in the AFC and don’t want to start the season 0-2 against a team they should clearly pound. The Ravens defense lost defensive end Terrell Suggs for the season last week but the rest of the defense is still plenty good enough to shut down a weak Raiders offense and Flacco and the offense should break out offensively against a weak Raiders defense. Lay the points.
