Philadelphia Eagles +3 over New York Jets – Head coach Chip Kelly has his Eagles in a tough spot coming into this game 0-2 and going uo against arguably the league’s best defense in the New York Jets today on the road. Having said that, the Eagles will be hungry and extra motivated today after getting embarrassed last week 20-10 at home to Dallas and they will be facing a Jets team that had a short week. The Jets played Monday night on the road in Indy in an impressive 20-7 win but will be up against it today without the services of wide receiver Eric Decker and injuries to star cornerback Darrelle Revis and key players in guard Willie Colon and running back Chris Ivory. The Eagles are the play today as their backs are against the wall and need to pull out all the stops. Look for Kelly to devise a game plan that gets the job done for the Eagles today.

Indianapolis Colts -3 over Tennessee Titans – The Colts are off to a miserable 0-2 start but catch a break today going up against a Titans team that they have owned for years. Quarterback Andrew Luck has been disappointing fantasy owners this season but should break out in a big time way today against a Titans defense that has a weak secondary and a mediocre pass rush. The Titans are 1-1 and rookie quarterback Marcus Mariotta has looked like a future stud as he’s thrown 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. However, this is the NFL and there is always a learning curve. Look for the Colts to get their season turned around today and get in the win column with a big win and prove to Mariotta that he has a long ways to go before he can win shootouts against pro bowl quarterbacks like Luck.

Seattle Sehawks -14.5 over Chicago Bears – This game is going to be ugly for the Bears and their fans. Seriously, hide the women and kids and put the dog away in a safe place in case you start pulling a nutty. The Seahawks are 0-2 and are going to take their frustration out big time on a Bears team that is playing backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen and sporting a terrible defense that’s given up 31 points to the Packers and 48 points to the Cardinals at home the first two weeks. Seattle gets a boost on defense today with the return of safety Kam Chancellor and look for their defense to be absolutely nasty today. Don’t be surprised if the Seahawks shutout the Bears today and the offense should have no problem putting up 30 plus on a brutal Bears defense. Lay the points and collect some easy cash.
