Vegas odds for Game 2 of the Atlanta Hawks vs Orlando Magic NBA Eastern Conference 2nd Rd Playoff series are now posted on NSAwins.com and vegas oddsmakers have made the Orlando Magic a -9.5 point favorite with the total listed at over/under 190 points. The Magic completely embarassed and dominated an Atlanta team by 43 points in a 114-71 thrashing of the Hawks in Game 1 of this series Tuesday. The win marked the worst playoff loss for the Hawks since they moved to Atlanta in 1968 and was Orlando’s 2nd biggest playoff win in their franchise’s history. Orlando’s beatdown of the Hawks in Game 1 came as no surprise to many NBA experts, as Atlanta had been blown out by scores of 104-86, 113-81 and 121-87 in it’s three previous trips to Orlando over the past two seasons. Atlanta has had difficulty playing against Orlando for several seasons now. They’ve simply have yet to find an answer for Dwight Howard in the paint and cannot defend Orlando’s deadly 3-point shooters. The Magic were on a 6-game winning streak against Atlanta in the series until Josh Smith’s buzzer-beating jam in the last regular-season meeting to give Atlanta an 86-84 win on March 24th. Orlando went 3-1 against Atlanta this season, with blowout wins of 37, 32 and 17 points. “I just think there are certain teams that match up really well with other teams and make things difficult,” Orlando head coach Stan Van Gundy said. “They may not have those same matchup advantages against another team, and so that’s why I think that happens.” NSAwins.com’s expert handicapper William E.
