2015-Quaker-State-400-Odds-Free-Picks-Predictions2015 Quaker State 400 Odds, Free Picks & Predictions – Odds to Win Quaker State 400: The Sprint Cup Series heads to the newest track on the schedule this weekend. Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway will be just the fifth Cup Series race held at the 1.5-mile track, and despite being the newest addition, Kentucky has already developed a reputation for being one of the roughest tracks thanks to its  overly bumpy surface.

This weekend’s race will be even more challenging because NASCAR has introduced a new aerodynamic rules package that features reduced downforce. Between the bumpy track surface and the new rules, it could be an interesting race. Here is a closer look at the frontrunners to emerge with a victory this weekend at Kentucky.

The Favorites

Not only is Brad Keselowski the defending winner of this weekend’s race, but he is the only driver that has won multiple races at the track. He has also led more laps at Kentucky than any other driver. In fact, Keselowski has led at least 68 laps in three of the four races at the track, and he led a race-high 199 of the 267 laps in his dominating win a year ago.

He won the first-ever Cup race held at Kentucky, and Kyle Busch hasn’t slowed down since the victory. His 4.5 average finish is tied for the best in the series, and Busch owns the top driver rating in the series at Kentucky. He has finished in the top 10 in all four races at the track, and he is the only driver with three top-five finishes. Busch has also led the second most laps at Kentucky and has led more than 100 laps in two different races.

His 4.5 average finish at Kentucky is tied for the best among all drivers, and Matt Kenseth has finished seventh or better in four races at the track. More importantly, he has finished in the top five in both of his starts at the track with Joe Gibbs Racing, winning the 2013 event.

The Contenders

He has never won a race a Kentucky, but Jeff Gordon has managed to be in contention in all four races at the track. He has finished in the top 10 in four races at Kentucky, and his 7.3 average finish ranks fourth among all drivers. Gordon is also one of just four drives to have cracked the top 10 in all four races at the track.

After a 30th-place finish in the inaugural race at Kentucky, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has bounced back in a big way. He has cracked the top five in two of his last three starts at the track, compiling a 6.3 average finish. Junior is also the only driver to have finished in the top five in each of the first five races at 1.5-mile tracks this season, and he has a series-leading 3.2 average finish in those races.

He has always been at his best at 1.5-mile tracks, so it is no surprise that Kasey Kahne has had some success at Kentucky. His 8.5 average finish at the track ranks fourth in the series, and he has finished in the top 15 in four races. Kahne has finished as high as second at Kentucky, and he currently ranks fifth in driver rating and fifth in fastest laps run at the track.

While he finished outside the top 10 in his first two starts at Kentucky, Joey Logano has been a force at the track since joining Team Penske. He finished fourth in his first start at the track with the organization, and he last year, he finished ninth and led 37 laps. A change of scenery has turned Logano from an afterthought into a real contender at Kentucky.
