He won at Infineon in 2010 and has finished seventh or better in his last three starts at the track. Johnson has turned one of his weaknesses into one of his strengths, and he is just starting to scratch the surface of road course potential.

In his first career start at Infineon, Juan Pablo Montoya went to Victory Lane. He has gone on to add four top-10 finishes in five starts at the track. Montoya has had a miserable time the last two years, but he is still a factor whenever the series visits a road course.
He is already on the short list of the best road racers in NASCAR history, and Tony Stewart still has plenty of road course wins left in him. He is a two-time winner at Infineon, and he has finished in the top 10 in four of his last five starts at the track. Stewart has finished third and second in the two races leading up to Infineon, and third win at the 10-turn road course is a real possibility this weekend.

With a background in road racing, it is no surprise that A.J. Allmendinger has had some strong runs at Infineon throughout his career. He has finished in the top 15 in three straight starts at the track, finishing as high as seventh. Allmendinger should only be better this weekend when he makes his first start at the track with Penske Racing. In fact, he will be driving for the No. 22 team that won this race last season with Kurt Busch behind the wheel.
He is probably the most-famous road ringer in the series today, and Boris Said has made his presence felt at Infineon in the past. In his last nine starts at the track, he has finished in the top 10 five times. Said is guaranteed a spot in the field in the FAS Lane Racing No. 32, and he has the talent to win and absolutely nothing to lose.

Although he is leading the points entering Sunday’s race, Matt Kenseth has never been much of a road racer. In 12 starts at Infineon, he has just a single top-10 finish and has never finished in the top five. With a 21.5 average finish at the track, Kenseth is going to be just another driver this weekend.
