2011 O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge Odds, Predictions, Betting Tips and Free Picks – Favorites and Lines to Win the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge: After a two-week hiatus, the Nationwide Series returns to action this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. While several Cup drivers pulling double duty will look to get to Victory Lane, series regular Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will try to hold on to the top spot in the standings. Not to mention the fact that Jack Roush and Joe Gibbs sill have cars battling it out for the owner’s title.
Last fall, Kyle Busch appeared poised to win his sixth consecutive Nationwide race at Texas. He led 107 of the 205 laps and had the car to beat for the first half of the event. However, Carl Edwards overtook him in the later stages, leading 59 laps of his own and holding off Busch in the closing laps.
Earlier this year, Edwards delivered another dominating performance. He led 169 of the 200 laps on his way to an easy victory. His main competition early in the night was Busch, but he was collected in a wreck while he was attempting to pass Edwards for the top spot. Once Busch was out of the picture, Edwards was unchallenged the rest of the way.

Although he wrecked earlier this year, Kyle Busch should still be feared by the competition this weekend. Busch has been next to unstoppable at Texas, and he could start another winning streak this weekend.
Speaking of streaks, Carl Edwards is going for a three-peat of his own at Texas this weekend. Considering he is not only the defending winner of this weekend’s event but going for a season sweep as well, there is no question Edwards is a driver to watch. For now, he is the man to beat.
He has never won at Texas, but Brad Keselowski could change that this weekend. For starters, he has five straight top-five finishes at the track, including a second-place run earlier this year. More importantly, he has been unstoppable at the 1.5-mile tracks in the second half of 2011. Don’t be surprised if Keselowski dominates Sunday.

Despite being unable to break through and win, Joey Logano has been about as close as a driver can come without sealing the deal. He has a second-place finish and a pair of fourth-place runs in his last three starts at Texas. Logano hasn’t been able to topple the dynasty of Busch and Edwards, but he is waiting in the wings.
He is 15 points out of the top spot, but Elliott Sadler could gain some ground this weekend. He finished fifth at Texas earlier this year, and he has finished in the top five in the two races leading up to this weekend’s event. Sadler has yet to win in 2011, but he couldn’t pick a better time to change that.

Justin Allgaier has two top-10 finishes and four top-15 finishes at Texas in his last five starts. More importantly, he had a career-best sixth-place finish at the track earlier this season. If Allgaier can build on his performance earlier this year, he could be a serious contender this weekend.
Although he hasn’t been making many starts in the Nationwide Series, David Ragan could make the most of his starts this weekend. He has four straight finishes of eighth or better at Texas, including a pair of top-five finishes. Ragan won two races in his last full season in the series, and he won’t be intimidated by the big names in the field.

Brian Vickers has been hit or miss at Texas. He has a pair of top-10 finishes and a pair of finishes outside the top 25 in four starts at the track. Throw in the fact that he has never had a top-five finish and has been awful at the track in the Cup Series, and Vickers doesn’t have the credentials of an upset candidate.
He has finished as high as third at Texas, but Clint Bowyer has struggled at the track in recent starts. Bowyer has finished 30th or worse in his last two starts, and he has as many finishes outside the top 15 as he has inside the top 10 in his last 10 starts at the track.
