Stanton finished 2nd in the 2014 NL MVP Award voting and he is an excellent choice to breakthrough in 2015 with his first career NL MVP Award. The 6-6 240 pound 25 year-old is an absolute beast at the plate and has connected on 34 or more home runs in three of his past four seasons including 37 last season. Stanton batted .288 and had 105 runs batted in last season for Miami to go along with a National League best .555 slugging percentage. Much like Trout, Stanton has not even entered the prime years of his career yet and will only continue to improve on his gaudy stats the next handful of seasons.
