Ranked for the first time the No. 17 Michigan Wolverines survived a scare from UMass to win 42-37 behind a more balance offensive performance and a defense that tightened up in the second half. Sneaking in at No. 25 this week is the Nevada Wolf Pack who is now 3-0 after an impressive win 52-31 over Pac-10 foe California.
This week’s headliner is a Top 10 matchup between 2 SEC east teams No. 1 Alabama lead by quarterback Greg McElroy who hasn’t lost a game as a starter since the eighth grade and Heisman hopeful Ryan Mallett quarterback of the No. 9 Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday at 3:335 PM ET from Fayetteville on CBS.
