National Sports Advisors FBS College Football Power Top 25 Week 11 Rankings: As the last few weekends have dwindled the unbeaten this week was the weekend for one loss upsets. The biggest showdown was No. 4 TCU pounding then No. 5 Utah 47-7 to narrow the unbeaten field to a final four, sounds like a good playoff scenario, hint, hint! So last week’s top four all won handedly. Alabama was leading the one loss teams up the rankings until LSU upset them at home 24-21 leaving the Alabama vs. Auburn game looming as the spoiler for the SEC. The Big 12 always wants to be involved in any trendy moves so Oklahoma chipped in with a 33-19 loss to Texas A&M for their second defeat and Missouri also stepped up with a 24-17 loss to Texas Tech giving them their second consecutive loss. The Pac 10 jumped into the ring as one loss Arizona got it handed to them by Stanford 42-17 putting Andrew Luck back into the Heisman Trophy race. My game ball goes to the Big Ten one loss teams for not getting involved. Vegas odds makers have the Boise State Broncos +400 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship.

This week it will be interesting to see how the Utah Utes rebound from their loss to TCU as they travel to South Bend to play the inconsistent Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The big games go to the SEC again this week as the No. 22 South Carolina Gamecocks fight the No. 24 Florida Gators at the Swamp in Gainesville for an opportunity to play in the SEC Championship game. Also the No. 17 Mississippi State Bulldogs travel to play the twice bitten No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide and I wouldn’t want to be on the field for head football coach Nick Saban’s practices this week!
