Meanwhile, the offense is not the juggernaut it was last season but it’s still plenty good enough. The unit is 3rd in the nation in scoring at 45.6 ppg.
Texas A&M is off to a mediocre 3-2 start and the bloom is of the rose in the Jimbo Fisher era. Not only are the Aggies not trending towards being a national title contender but now they will also have to deal with Texas joining the SEC in 2025 and hurting the recruiting edge that A&M had over Texas with their SEC affiliation.
The real problem for the Aggies this season is the offense flat out stinks. They can’t move the ball or score. It’s sad. They rank 84th in total offense and 100th in scoring. I thought Jimbo was a big time recruiter? Because I don’t see any talent on this A&M offense when I watch them play.
