THE PIGSKIN GUY’S Free Football Picks for Saturday 1/2/2010
Oklahoma St +3 – The Cowboys are the play today. Ole Miss is just 2-3 away from home this year with those two wins coming against awful Vanderbilt and Memphis squads. Simply put, Ole Miss is just not that good when you take them out of Oxford. Okla St ended their season with a bad 27-0 loss at Oklahoma(what else is new?) but are 3-1 away from home. Oklahoma St handled Georgia from the SEC pretty good back in September and should handle another SEC foe pretty good today.
East Carolina +7.5 – Arkansas has an explosive offense but let’s not overlook ECU’s defense. They’ve only surrendered more than 28 points one time in their last 10 games and will be trying to win 10 games for the 1st time since 1991. ECU is a solid football team folks and should be able to hold their own against an Arkansas team that is terrible defensively.
