Well, last week we were on the cusp of breaking out. A couple games that we lost at the end ruined that. Not unusual. We still went 5-4 and that puts our season record 12-9. Not bad. College Football Picks for Saturday, September 26, 2009
Wake Forest +2 – Wake is a little off this year, but they are still a good team. They played Baylor tough and came back with a great win vs Stanford. BC is awful this year. Take the 2.
Kansas -13.5 – Kansas is cruising along and scoring points. So. Miss is not a good team. I see a blowout here. Give the points.
North Carolina +3 – The Ga Tech thing never made sense to me. That offense will work with time and their defense is average at best. Miami beat them up like they were children. North carolina will at least keep it close. Take the points.
Pitt +1 – Pitt is playing good ball and have alot of talent. NC St played the worst college football game I’ve ever seen opening night. Now they beat 2 cupcakes and people seem to care. Pitt wins outright.
Va Tech -2 – Tech has played tough teams and is at home. Miami is better, but i don’t think they are good as people think they are. Va Tech will stop them in their tracks. Lay the pts.
NFL Picks for Sunday, September 27, 2009
Houston -3.5 – Houston showed some guts last week. They are probably gonna be flying high and Jacksonville is horrible. Not a very big number to lay at home.
Cleveland +14 – I know you think I’m crazy. Remember these 2 teams history and hatred for each other. Baltimore is coming off a big win at SD. They also give and score more points than normal. Cleveland couldn’t be playing any worse. This game has that hatred that might spark them to play decent. I think Baltimore looks ahead and Cleveland covers.
San Fran + 7 – Here’s where Minny comes back to reality. They are playing a team that is disciplined and hungry. They are also mean. I think they can stuff AD and and score on Minny by running Gore. I say SF wins outright or covers.
