The 2010 Preseason College Football Top 25 AP Poll is now out and is posted on NSAwins.com. The AP writers have made defending BCS National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide the preseason #1 team with 54 first place votes out of a possible 60. The Ohio State Buckeyes are the #2 ranked team in the preseason poll and garnered 3 first place votes, followed by the #3 ranked Boise St Broncos(1 first place vote, #4 ranked Florida Gators and #5 ranked Texas Longhorns(1 first place vote) to round out the preseason top 5. The TCU Horned Frogs will begin the 2010 College Football campaign as the #6 ranked team in the AP Poll and are followed by the #7 ranked Oklahoma Sooners(1 first place vote), #8 ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers, #9 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes and the #10 ranked Virginia Tech Hokies to round out the Top 10 teams in the AP preseason NCAA power rankings. The Big 12 leads all conferences with 3 teams in the Top 10 with the #5 Longhorns, #7 Sooners and #8 Cornhuskers in the Top 8, but the SEC leads all conferences with 6 teams in the Top 25 as #1 Alabama, #4 Florida, #17 Arkansas, #21 LSU, #22 Auburn and #23 Georgia represent the powerful SEC football conference in the preseason AP Top 25 poll.
