Army Black Knights versus Navy Midshipmen 2010 NCAAF Week 15 Odds, Preview, and Predictions: Head football coach Rich Ellerson will lead his Army Black Knight to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to take on head football coach Ken Niumataolo’s Navy Midshipmen as the only FBS game this Saturday at 2:30 PM ET on CBS Sports.  Army comes into the game 6-5 and is headed to the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl on December 30th in Dallas while Navy is 8-3 and headed to the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia on December 23rd.  Navy has won the last 8 meetings and Army has failed to score a touchdown in the last 3.  The first game was in 1890 and this is the 111th meeting.  “We still have not performed well on the big stage,” Ellerson said as he prepared his team to face Navy in Philadelphia. “Twice this season we stepped onto the big stage under the bright lights and did not play well.”  “That’s the next challenge for us culturally,” Ellerson said looking at Navy. “We want to play Army football and find out whether we’re good enough to beat Navy.  “This is another opportunity in a big-time environment. To be able to play well and win this game would reflect some growth and maturity.”  Vegas odds makers have the Navy Midshipmen a -8 point favorite at home against the Army Black Knights.

The Midshipmen are coming off a hot streak winning 6 of its last 7 games most recently 35-19 at home against Arkansas State to move to 6-4 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Ricky Dobbs completed 8 of 9 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown and ran the triple option to perfection carrying the ball 31 times for 154 yards and 3 more scores.  In all 11 players carried the ball for the Midshipmen.  The total has gone OVER in 4 of Navy’s last 5 games.

Army was a loser in its last game 27-3 against Notre Dame at the New Yankee stadium moving them to 5-4 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Trent Steelman completed just 2 of 7 passes for 39 yards and 2 picks and rushed 14 times for 24 yards also running the triple option.  .  Odds makers at BetUS have the over/under for the total score at 54 points combined of the Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen.
