Arizona Wildcats at Oregon Ducks 2010 NCAAF Week 13 Odds, Preview, Predictions

Arizona Wildcats at Oregon Ducks 2010 NCAAF Week 13 Odds, Preview, and Predictions:  Head football coach Mike Stoops will lead his No. 20 Arizona Wildcats north to take on PAC 10 rival the No. 1 Oregon Ducks on Friday night at 7:00 PM ET in an always heated game at Autzen Stadium on ESPN.   Arizona comes in at 7-3 3rd in the PAC 10 looking to play spoiler while Oregon is at 10-0 1st in the conference looking to clinch a spot in a BCS Bowl and possibly the BCS National Championship game.  “Every year since I’ve been here our battles with Arizona have been real knockdown drag-outs and that’s what this is gonna be,” Oregon head football coach Chip Kelly said.  Oregon Heisman Trophy hopeful running back LaMichael James was injured in their last game and remains questionable.

“I think our players understand how good you have to play as a team and how disciplined and how quick they can strike,” coach Stoops said. “We had pretty good control of that game a year ago and they came back and scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and executed very well. We just got a couple of guys out of place, and the next thing you knew, they were scoring.”   Vegas odds makers have the Oregon Ducks a -18 1/2 point favorite at home against the Arizona Wildcats.

The Oregon Ducks were a close winner 15-13 last week on the road against California in a PAC 10 contest.  Quarterback Darron Thomas completed 15 of 29 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown also carrying the ball 16 times for just 34 yards.  James carried 29 times for just 91 yards well short of his FBS leading 158 per game.  Oregon is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Arizona.  Vegas odds makers have the Oregon Ducks -110 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship.

Arizona is coming off a loss to PAC 10 powerhouse the USC Trojans 24-21.  Quarterback Nick Foles completed 32 of 48 passes for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns hitting Miller 7 times for 116 yards and Travis Cobb 4 times for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Receiver David Douglas also caught 6 passes for 44 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The total has gone OVER in 4 of Arizona’s last 6 games.  Odds makers at BetUS have the over/under for the total score at 63 points combined of the Arizona Wildcats and Oregon Ducks.

I like the Ducks to win at home.
