Kiffin led the Owls to an 11-3 overall record including 8-0 in CUSA play en route to the CUSA Championship. The Owls beat North Texas 41-17 to win the CUSA Championship Game and then blasted Akron 50-3 in the Boca Raton Bowl to end the season with a bang.
