Oklahoma still has one of the Heisman Trophy favorites in quarterback Baker Mayfield and they possess a potent scoring offense that ranks 6th in the nation at 44.6 points per game. However, the defense has let them down big time the last two games and it cost them the win last week. The Sooners defense is now just 46th in the nation in scoring defense allowing 23.2 points per game.

The Texas Longhorns come into the Red River Rivalry with an overall record of 3-2 and 4-1 against the spread. The Longhorns have been getting better each week since their opening 51-41 loss to Maryland and are coming off a big 40-34 win over Kansas State last week at home as a -5.5 point favorite.
