Penn State head coach James Franklin may be cocky and rub people the wrong way outside of Pennsylvania but the guy has flat out built a powerhouse at University Park and has the Penn State program back as of on the nation’s powerhouses. Franklin got things turned around in a big time way last season winning the Big Ten Championship and finishing 11-3 overall including 8-1 in the Big Ten. Franklin has picked up where he left off this season and has the best and most talented Nittany Lions team since he took over in 2014.

The Nittany Lions come into this huge game with the nation’s 16th ranked scoring offense at 40 points per game and the top-ranked scoring defense at just 9.6 points per game. Penn State is dominant on both sides of the ball and have the nation’s best player in our eyes in junior running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley has rushed for 757 yards on 117 carries and 8 touchdowns this season. He has also caught 32 balls for 448 yards and 3 touchdowns. The man is an unbelievable talent and is the frontrunner to win the 2017 Heisman Trophy.

The 6th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes come into this Big Ten East Division showdown with a 6-1 overall record and 4-3 against the spread.
