The new Longhorns head coach was embarrassed in his home opener when Texas came out flat and lost 51-41 as a big -19 point home favorite against Maryland. Ugly. However, the good news is Texas gets a terrible San Jose State team this week at home and they should come out motivated and looking to put a hurting on the Spartans. San Jose State is 1-1 overall and 2-0 against the spread so far including a 34-13 win over Cal Poly last week as a -10.5 point favorite. San Jose State will fail to cover this week as they will get manhandled by a pissed off Texas team. Lay the points and bet on Texas -27.

Bet On Middle Tenn St and Syracuse OVER 72.5 Two explosive offenses get on the field this Saturday in upstate New York when Syracuse plays host to Middle Tenn St. However, you wouldn’t know it by the way Middle Tenn State was shut down last week in an ugly 28-6 loss at home to Vanderbilt as a +2 point underdog. MTSU struggled to just 215 total yards on offense against an underrated Vandy defense. Syracuse, meanwhile, had the offense humming last week at home against Central Connecticut in a 50-7 beat down win as a -46 point favorite. Syracuse should have no issues scoring at will again this week against a MTSU defense that finished 109th nationally last year giving up 35.8 ppg. Bet on the OVER 72.5 and watch this win with ease.
