Bet On Charlotte +14.5 at Eastern Michigan The betting line on this matchup opened with Eastern Michigan being a -12.5 point favorite and the total opened at over/under 58 points. The betting odds have since gone up with a lot of public action coming in on Eastern Michigan. The line now stands at Eastern Michigan -14.5 at Bovada Sportsbook and the total is over/under 59 points.

This game is a rematch from last season when Eastern Michigan went down to Charlotte and beat the 49ers 37-19 on September 17, 2016. Charlotte ended up finishing 4-8 last season and 3-5 in CUSA play but were more competitive down the stretch. The 49ers closed the season going 3-4 and three of those three losses came by 1 point, 1 point and 7 points. They return 12 starters this season with 6 on both sides of the ball so we expect Charlotte to be improved this season.

Eastern Michigan returns 16 starters from last season’s 7-6 team that went 4-4 in the MAC. The Eagles made a bowl game for the first time in 29 years and expectations are high for them this season to be a contender to win the MAC. However, we say, pump the brakes. Bet On Colorado and Colorado St UNDER 69 The betting odds for this in-state rivalry game opened with Colorado a -7 point favorite and the total opened at over/under 66. However, the betting line has shifted and Colorado is now just a -3.5 point favorite and the total has gone up to over/under 69 points at Intertops Sportsbook.

Colorado went 10-4 last season including 8-1 in the PAC 12. The Buffaloes kicked off their season last year with a 44-7 beat down over Colorado State and that catapulted them to a strong season. Colorado returns 12 starters this season including 9 on offense. The Buffs were a dominant defensive team last season finishing 20th in the nation allowing just 21.7 ppg. They only have 3 starters back on defense but they will still be a formidable unit with very good talent and a strong defensive system.
