The Bulls went 11-2 and 7-1 in the AAC last season and have 16 starters returning for new head coach Charlie Strong. Things didn’t go as planned for Charlie as the University of Texas head coach but the guy can coach and recruit so we expect him to rejuvenate his career as the head man in charge at South Florida. The Bulls offense is big time as they scored 43.8 points per game last season and have 7 starters back including senior quarterback Quinton Flowers. Flowers passed for 2812 yards and 24 touchdowns last season plus rushed for 1530 yards and 18 touchdowns making him one of the nation’s best multi-purpose quarterbacks. If the defense can step their game up and crack the top 50 nationally in points allowed than the Tigers have a real shot at winning double digits and the AAC Championship.
