Odds to Win the 2016 ACC Football Championship and ACC Atlantic/Coastal Divisions
ACC Atlantic Division Prediction
1. Clemson Tigers(+183 odds to win ACC) – Head coach Dabo Swinney is heading into his 8th season as the Tigers head coach and sports an impressive 75-27 overall record. Swinney has built one of the top programs in all of college football and was one game away from hammering that point home last season as the Tigers went undefeated until losing the National Championship game 45-40 to Alabama. Swinney has reason to feel confident he can seal the deal this season, however, as he welcomes back 12 returning starters including 8 on an offensive unit that should be one of the best units in the nation. Clemson welcomes back junior quarterback Deshaun Watson who finished 3rd in the Heisman Trophy voting last year and threw for 4,104 yards to go along with 35 touchdowns. The Clemson offense will be sensational thanks to Watson this season but the defense will be nothing to sneeze at either. Clemson defensive coordinators Marion Hobby and Brent Venables are two of the best in the business and the Tigers defense has plenty of talent to make up for the 7 departed starters from last year’s 10th overall defense in the country. 2016 Projection 13-0, 8-0 ACC

ACC Coastal Division Prediction
1. Miami-Florida Hurricanes(+800 odds to win ACC) – A new sheriff is in town to guide the once feared and prominent Miami-Florida Hurricanes football program and his name is Mark Richt. The former Georgia Bulldogs head coach takes over a talented roster and a team coming off of a 8-5 season last year. The Hurricanes return 16 starters from last year’s squad including 9 on offense and 7 on defense. Richt has walked into a very good situation as the cupboard is certainly not bare and he can really spring board Miami’s recruiting and future by storming out of the gates with an ACC Coastal Division Championship this season and a good showing in the title game against Clemson like we predict. Miami was middle of the pack in both total offense(68th nationally) and total defense(69th nationally) last season but should be able to move up into the top 40 in both categories this season and especially offensively with Richt’s offensive background. Miami-Fl should be a fringe Top 25 team this season but should be good enough to win a good but not great ACC Coastal Division. 2016 Projection 9-4, 6-2 ACC
