Week 5 College Football action kicks off on Thursday, October 1st when the 3-0 Miami Hurricanes travel to Turf of Nippert Stadium to battle the 2-2 Cincinnati Bearcats. The oddamakers have installed the Miami Hurricanes as -5.5 point favorites with the over/under listed at 68 points.
On Friday, October 2nd there are three College Football games on the schedule in primetime. The action kicks off at 7:05 PM EST with two games when the Memphis Tigers go on the road to take on the South Florida Bulls and the Temple Owls go on the road to battle the Charlotte 49ers. Memphis is favored by -9.5 points with the total at over/under 62 points while Temple is a huge -23.5 point favorite with the game total at over/under 48 points. The Friday night action warps up with the final game at 10:20 PM EST when the Uconn Huskies go to Provo, Utah to take on the BYU Cougars. BYU is a -18.5 point favorite with the total listed at over/under 46.5 points.
The Week 5 College Football action really heats up on Saturday, October 3rd with a bunch of quality games on the schedule. Some of the best games in our opinion on the Saturday slate have the Oklahoma Sooners a -7 point home favorite against West Virginia Mountaineers, Georgia Bulldogs a -2 point home favorite against the Alabama Crimson Tide, Baylor Bears a -15 point home favorite against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Clemson Tigers a pk at home versus the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Texas A&M Aggies a -7 home favorite versus the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Perhaps the game we are most looking forward to on Saturday has the 4-0 Mississippi Rebels going up against the 4-0 Florida Gators in Grass of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. Ole Miss has looked like a true national title contender so far with a signature 43-37 win at Alabama while the Gators have been a surprise as not many people expected them to be a SEC contender this season. The odds makers have installed Ole Miss as a -7.5 point favorite with the game total at over/under 52.5 points.
