2015 College Football Opening Week 1 Odds and Lines – College Football Betting Odds Week 1: The early opening odds for week 1 of the 2015 College Football season have been released by GT Bets Sportsbook and are now available for online betting.
The 2015 College Football season officially kicks off on Thursday, September 3rd and there are a couple of intriguing games on the schedule opening night. For starters, head coach Steve Spurrier takes his South Carolina Gamecocks into Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in a SEC vs ACC battle that will air LIVE on ESPN at 6PM EST. South Carolina has opened as a -3 point favorite over North Carolina with the game total opening at over/under 65 points.
In another exciting opening night game, head coach Jim Harbaugh makes his coaching debut at his alma mater as he leads the Michigan Wolverines on the road against the Utah Utes in a Big 10 vs PAC 12 showdown. Utah has been installed as a -6 point favorite on the opening line with the game total opening at over/under 46 points with kickoff set for 8:30 PM EST.
The highest ranked team in action on opening night will be head coach Gary Patterson’s TCU Horned Frogs as they are ranked #2 in the nation in the preseason USA Today Top 25 poll and they’ll be on the road to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Horned Frogs have opened up as -14 point favorites with the game total sitting at over/under 57.5 points and kick off is set for 9PM EST on ESPN.
There is a load of college football action scheduled for Saturday, September 5th with Washington @ Boise State(-10.5, over/under 56.5), Louisville vs Auburn(-10.5, over/under 58.5), Wisconsin vs Alabama(-10.5, over/under 52.5) and Texas @ Notre Dame(-10, over/under 55) and Arizona St @ Texas A&M(-2.5, over/under 66.5) being some of the top headline games on Saturday. Opening week 1 action concludes on Monday, September 7th when preseason #1 ranked and defending national champion Ohio State travels to Blacksburg, Va to try and get revenge on the Virginia Tech Hokies for their lone loss in Columbus last season. Ohio State has opened as -10.5 point favorites with the total at over/under 54 points.
