Moore is an incredible 38-2 as a starter, and if he can guide the Broncos by TCU, the 2011-12 season will be something special.
Last year, the TCU Horned Frogs capped an undefeated season with a victory over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. The win finally gave the program the recognition it has deserved for several seasons, and thanks to TCU’s stout defense, the Horned Frogs should make some noise again in 2011-12. Starting QB Andy Dalton is off to the NFL, but with a strong running game and a defense that helped TCU outgain its opponents on offense by more than 300 yards last season, the Horned Frogs will be just fine. The Air Force Falcons went 9-4 last year, but they were clearly on the verge of being an 11-win type of team. The Falcons lost three close games, including a near upset of Oklahoma. Armed with a running game that always seems to give opponents fits, Air Force should be a tough team to beat once again in 2011-12. The Falcons will likely come up short against the top teams in the conference, but with a few lucky breaks, this is one team capable of stealing the Mountain West crown.
When it comes to skill position talent, San Diego State has as much as any team in the conference. One the ground and through the air, the Aztecs have big time playmakers on offense. Starting quarterback Ryan Lindley may be the best in school history, and sophomore running back Ronnie Hillman has star written all over him. Last year, Hillman cracked 1,500 yards and punched in 17 scores. The Aztecs don’t have the defense to win the conference title, but they will put up points and could play spoiler.

After making and winning a bowl game in 2009, the Wyoming Cowboys crashed down to earth last season. The team won just three games, and the outlook for 2011-12 isn’t much better.
