Texas Tech(+125 odds to win) – Texas Tech finished the regular season 26-5 overall and won a share of the Big 12 regular season title with Kansas State by going 14-4. The Red Raiders are #2 seed in this tournament and gets the 7/10 game Oklahoma vs West Virginia winner. Texas Tech will be looking to win it’s first Big 12 Tournament Championship in school history.
Kansas(+200 odds to win) – Kansas went 23-8 overall in the regular season and 12-6 in the Big 12 to finish in 3rd place. The Jayhawks are the defending Big 12 Tournament champs and have won the tourney a record 11 times. Kansas hasn’t won back to back Big 12 Tournament titles since 2010 and 2001. The winner of the expected semifinals matchup between Texas Tech and Kansas is our choice to win this tournament.
Kansas State(+300 odds to win) – Kansas State went 24-7 overall and 14-4 in Big 12 play to win a share of the Big 12 regular season title. The Wildcats had a great season but are coming in with the 3rd best odds to win this tournament. Frankly, it’s not hard to see why. Kansas State is a solid team but they lack the talent that both Kansas and Texas Tech have in our opinion. They have the easiest path to the Big 12 title game but we don’t see them getting past Texas Tech or Kansas.
