2020 NFL Draft Props: 1st Rd Picks from Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State & Georgia

We are officially less than a week away from the 2020 NFL Draft, and in addition to putting out some mock drafts, I have been highlighting some prop bets to target as we try to find a way to make a little money while most of the sports world remains shut down. This time around, I am focusing on some team-based NFL Draft props bets.

Total Auburn Players Drafted in Round 1

Best Bet: Over 1.5 (+185)

Defensive tackle Derrick Brown is the only no-brainer Day 1 pick Auburn brings to the table, but you only need one more player to hit the over, and the Tigers have two players in the mix. Defensive end Marlon Davidson is a proven producer off the edge, and if there is a player that general managers will reach for a bit, it is a pass-rusher with upside. Corner Noah Igbinoghene is the other player who could come off the board in the first 32 picks, and he brings Olympic-caliber genes and athleticism that you just can’t teach. He’s probably better suited as a Day 2 pick, but Igbinoghene is another high-upside type that a team could easily fall in love with. Total Clemson Players Drafted in Round 1

Best Bet: Under 1.5 (+170)

Do-it-all linebacker/safety Isaiah Simmons won’t last past the top 10 picks, but as talented as Clemson has been in recent years, the Tigers don’t have another lock for the first round. You do have two bullets to dodge in the form of cornerback A.J. Terrell and receiver Tee Higgins, but I think you could come out on top anyway. Terrell has always been mentioned as a fringe Day 1 pick, rather than a no-doubter, and the last time he was on the field, he was getting torched by LSU’s receiving corps. Higgins is worthy of a first-round pick, for sure, but one of the deepest receiver classes in recent memory could cause every player at the position to slide further than expected. Total Ohio State Players Drafted in Round 1

Best Bet: Over 2.5 (+325)

You will probably be at two within the first five picks of Round 1 thanks to Chase Young and Jeff Okudah, but you will have to sweat it out from there. Running back J.K. Dobbins is your lone hope to be the third Buckeye off the board in the first round, and in this class, no back is a lock to hear his name called on Day 1. Most experts seem to have Georgia’s D’Andre Swift as the top back, but Dobbins is in the small group vying to be the next back in line. It only takes one team to fall in love with a player, and contenders like Kansas City and Baltimore could look to add one more piece to their already potent offenses at the end of the first round. I’ll admit that this bet is far from a sure thing, but the payout is appetizing for a scenario that at least has a puncher’s chance of playing out in your favor. Total Georgia Players Drafted in Round 1

Best Bet: Under 1.5 (+160)

Offensive tackle Andrew Thomas is a lock to be off the board. The question is whether or not running back D’Andre Swift will join him as a Day 1 pick. Yes, Swift is widely regarded as the best back in this class, but we all know that running backs have become devalued in today’s NFL, and more and more teams are waiting until the later rounds to address the position. In this case, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Swift have to wait until the top of Round 2 to hear his name called, and with no other Bulldog in the Round 1 mix, a slight slip for Swift is all it takes to make this bet cash.
