Michigan State(+125 odds to win) – Michigan State finished 26-5 overall and 16-4 in Big Ten play to capture a share of the Big Ten regular season title with Purdue. The Spartans have the #1 overall seed in the Big Ten Tournament and have won it a record 5 times. Michigan State last won the Big Ten tourney in 2016 and are hungry to cut down the nets again. Head coach Tom Izzo has a great opportunity to get a #1 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament if he can lead his Spartans to the title this weekend in Chicago.
Purdue(+175 odds to win) – Purdue earned a share of the Big Ten regular season title with the Spartans. The Boilermakers finished 23-8 overall and 16-4 in Big Ten play. Purdue is looking to capture just it’s 2nd Big Ten Tournament title as it only won in 2009. The Boilermakers have made the title game in 2 of the last 3 seasons including last year. They lost the title game to Michigan last season and could face them in a rematch in the semifinals this Saturday if they both hold serve.
Michigan(+285 odds to win) – Michigan is considered by many to have the most overall talent in the Big Ten. However, they got swept by Michigan State to cost them the regular season title. The Wolverines lost at Michigan State in the Big Ten regular season finale to drop to 15-5 in Big Ten play. Michigan did go 26-5 overall in the regular season including wins over Villanova and North Carolina. The Wolverines have won the last two Big Ten Tournament titles for their lone two wins in school history.
