Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  As a fan of good food and football, this is one of the best days of the year, so sit back with family and friends and enjoy!

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday 11/25

Detroit Plus 6.5 – Johnny Public will be all over the Patriots in this one.  But I say the Lions will be in their element and have played some good teams like the Jets and Packers close.  Plus NE has this bad habit of not closing teams out and letting them back in games.  I say NE should win, but it will be a struggle as usual.

New Orleans Minus 3.5 – The Saints are coming on and with Atlanta and Tampa playing lights out, they cannot afford a let up.  I also don’t think Dallas is all of a sudden this juggernaut under Garrett.  I’ll take Brees in this matchup.

New York Jets Minus 8.5 – Gang Green has been squeaking them out lately, but have you seen Cincinnati?  Wow…  Talk about a team that has packed it in already….  Cincy couldn’t play with them in the playoffs last year when they had a better squad as AFC North champs.   The Jets in a cakewalk….

Sunday 11/28

Tampa Bay Plus 7.5 – Tampa is bringing it each and every week.  Not saying they are an elite team or anything, but they are a tough out.  Count me as someone who thinks Baltimore is nothing special.  Good team, but not scary good.  Joe Flaccid is a stiff sometimes…  (hey, I made a joke!)

Atlanta Minus 2 – One of the best games of the weekend and a possible playoff preview.  I think Atlanta is a force at home and think the home field will be enough to squeak by the Pack in a possible FG game.

Indianapolis Minus 3 – Goober Manning will want to redeem himself after the 4th quarter pick in NE.  San Diego usually has Indy’s number, but I don’t think the Chargers are the same team on the road, so I’ll go with a pissed off Manning to win this one.

Monday 11/29

Arizona Plus 1 – Do we have to watch this one?  Uggghh…  I don’t have to watch to pick a team so I’ll go with the home team in this one.  The Niners have talent but have piss-poor coaching.  The Cards have talent and coaches, but no quarterback.  I’ll take the home team in a coin flip game.
