Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 10

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 10:  Rejuvenated quarterback Michael Vick will lead the Philadelphia Eagles on the road the FedEx Field to take on the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football on ESPN at 8:35 PM ET.  The Skins enter the game 4-4 good for 3rd in the NFC East while the Eagles are 5-3 good for 2nd in the NFC East and the Skins won the earlier meeting at Philly.  Michael Vick is back starting at quarterback after being injured during the earlier meeting and Washington quarterback Donovan McNabb is back rested after a bye week when his was previously benched by head football coach Mike Shanahan late in the game.  “Yes, I’m satisfied,” McNabb said. “You get what you ask for, and after that you put it behind you and move on.”  He put in extra work this off week to try and get up to speed on the offense.  “Right now, he’s improved from last week, but by no means is he full speed yet,” Mike Shanahan said. “As we go later in the week, I’ll get a feel exactly where he’s at, but right now I can’t tell you if he could go full speed.”  The odds makers at Bodog have the Philadelphia Eagles -3 point favorites on the road against the Washington Redskins.

Philly is coming off a close win 26-24 at home against the Indianapolis Colts to move to 3-5 against the spread.  Vick completed 17 of 29 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown while running the ball 10 times for another 74 yards and a score.  Vick told head football coach Andy Reid that he feels they have what it takes to make it to the Super Bowl.  “We have a lot of rising stars, we have a lot of young guys who are very dedicated and we have some veterans who have been around for a long time,” he said. “I think that if we just put it all together we can make a run at it.” Vegas odds makers have the Philadelphia Eagles as +2000 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Redskins are coming off a loss 37-25 to the Detroit Lions prior to the bye week.  McNabb completed 17 of 30 passes for 210 yards a touchdown and a pick before being benched.  Despite the differences with the Coach the Skins rewarded him with a 5 year contract extension today.  The Skins are 5-2-1 ATS this year and the total has gone UNDER in 7 of Washington’s last 9 games when playing at home against Philadelphia.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 43 points combined of the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins.

I like the Eagles to win on the road to split the season series.
