Vegas odds to win each AFC Division for the 2010-11 NFL Season are now posted on NSAwins.com and vegas oddsmakers have listed the New England Patriots the +125 favorite to win the AFC East, Baltimore Ravens the -125 favorite to win the AFC North, Indianapolis Colts the -155 favorite to win the AFC South and San Diego Chargers the -290 favorite to win the AFC West. The AFC East should be a tightly contested race between the Patriots and New York Jets(+130 odds), as both rivals bring back much of the same cast that brought each team to the AFC Playoffs last season. The Patriots, especially, look poised to improve from a rocky 10-6 season last year that saw them blow many 2nd half leads and also suffer from some in-house turmoil that stemmed from unhappy players like since released linebacker Adalius Thomas that caused chemistry to be lacking on and off the field. The AFC North also shapes up as an interesting race, as the Ravens are the favorite but both the Pittsburgh Steelers(+285 odds) and Cincinnati Bengals(+285 odds) appear ready to stake claim to the division with two talented rosters. The Steelers will have to navigate the first 4-6 games of the season without suspended quarterback Ben Roethlisberger but should be one of the NFL’s best teams by the time Thanksgiving hits. In the AFC South and AFC West, it certainly appears as if the Colts and Chargers should win the divisions on paper, but don’t count out the Tennessee Titans(+130 odds) or Kansas City Chiefs(+240 odds) as sleeper teams to win those divisons.
